What is a snippet?
Snippets are reusable phrases, sentences, or even entire paragraphs that you may effortlessly put into your text to save time when using them.
How can I create a snippet?
A snippet can be created in the following way.
Step 1: Go to the My Snippets section and click on the New Snippet.
Step 2: Fill the details in the as per your requirements. While choosing a shortcut, use a simple term which you can easily recall while typing. Then you can simply type // and your chosen shortcut to use the snippet in the text editor.
Step 3: Once it is created, save it.
Step 4: Now Snippet is ready for use in the text editor.
Step 5: Go to the document in the upcopy.ai web editor to use snippets. Type // to see the available snippets. Choose the one you want to use. Here we select //copyright to insert the pre-typed copyright message.
You can create as many snippets you want with the Upcopy.ai web editor “My Snippets” feature.
